I heard that for food to not stick, remember "hot pan, cold oil". So I heat the pan up and after it is hot add the butter or lard. The heat opens the pores on the pan and the oil goes into the pores better when it is hot. If it is too hot, the butter will burn. Pork fat will cook nicely in a hot pan. My eggs still stick sometimes. Also, if the cast iron has lost its seasoning, heat it up and rub lard on it. Not hot enough to smoke the fat. Let the pan cool and wipe off the extra fat.

I only caught half of the live yesterday and came back tonight for the replay. Again, I hope that you had a wonderful birthday and here's to many, many more! 🥩🧈🥓🥚
I'll have to try this canned salmon and browned 🧈 since you keep saying how good it is. I usually buy canned salmon for my 🐈‍⬛ and use frozen, skin-on wild caught for myself…I predict there will be an altercation in my house when the next can of salmon opens…

Cast iron pans (of 4 sizes) add iron to food, can go into the oven or stay on the range, when my air fryer broke down, I was SO glad to have the pans.!Also be careful with spices, especially since many contain oxalates, like turmeric. Digestive enzymes are a necessity for me, especially Betaine HCL, bile salts, etc. One last thing, please try to find some air-bud earphones rather than those blutooth earphones, so that you are not unnecessarily irradiating your brain. So sorry for your loss, please stay well and strong.
