Kathy, I'm SURE someone has already said this, but when I drain fruit I will drain it in a measuring cup and then use THAT drained liquid in my cake mix…it just adds extra flavor…

The Scalloped Potatoes at 9:13 were simple, quick and the very best au gratins Whistler and I have ever eaten. I used bacon grease from local bacon ends and a bit of fresh grated parmesan with Pinconning cheddar on top. Definitely going in the rotation! Thank you Cathy!
