I steam veg until almost tender and then stir fry at the end with spices, etc…., that way I never over or under cook the stir fry. It’s easy to get it just right. I’ll make a curried tomato sauce and add veg, or a purée of cauliflower and add herbs, nutritional yeast if allowed, etc. A mushroom gravy is nice on potatoes, a veggie burger, veggie meatloaf or meat meatloaf. Put lots of veg in the meatloaf. Yes to the salad dressings! Great tips thanks!

You can have cinnamon on Whole30 can’t you?! I used it….the way you said “….cinnamon, or nutmeg if you are on Whole30…” made it sound like you can’t have it. 🥺

I need to eat raw greens for all the nutrients and cancer fighting properties. But raw greens are so nasty to me. I decided to juice them and make them go down fast. Lol. I can’t put a lot of other stuff in there because high FODMAPS hurt my stomach so no avacado or apple (limited apples maybe) and I’m AIP so I can’t add even more stuff. So I’m trying to make my greens more sweet and less bitter and I seriously hate the taste. I’m gonna try a little banana and orange and maybe a tiny bit of apple.

Well, now I will most definitely give a thumbs up! Lol I am looking forward to the sauces. I love sauces! I have always stir fried/sauté my veggies with a few broth based sauces that I use. Two things I am good at roasting are white potatoes with onions and mushrooms and tomato topped with olive oil, herbs and cheese, but sadly that’s not happening on AIP!!!!! You reminded me of a dish my mom use to make with sautéed red cabbage, bacon and apples but it has brown sugar in it. Thanks for all the tips. I will be trying them out!
