Years ago … Papa John’s = 2 dough trays on the floor , bucket on top of trays not floor, 6 cans of sauce 1 bag seasoning/sugar mixed with a drill and attachment. Dated/ intialed placed in the walk-in cooler. Dough and everything else delivered by commissary truck weekly. Delivery charge = claimed to offset cost of insurance .

The most ‘surprising’ or ‘upsetting’ thing about this, is that people genuinely have no idea how food is prepped. The drill technique has been used at any of the pizza places I worked as a teen

Once people see how often holes form in the gloves people work with, and then don't get replaced in a timely manner they'll see whining about gloves is such a wasted effort. I only wore gloves in the kitchen if it was to keep mess off my hands. Not to keep my hands from contacting food. If you want food thats never been handled you're going to starve to death. Wash your hand every set amount of time, or when you do something even remotely messy, and every time you contaminate, and gloves are just a waste of the restaurants already ultra tight budgets. You still need to wash your hands when using gloves anyways so you may as well just cut the glove part entirely where you can stay perfectly sanitary without them.

And the driill bit complaint is also people over reacting to a complete non issues. As long as the drill and bit have only every been used for food prep and not actually contractor type work it's literally no different than almost any other electric appliance with an electric motor you have in your house kitchen. People just like to talk about shit they have idea or context too.

Ever notice the similarity between a stand mixer and a drill press? A hand mixer and a hand drill? All they are are motors with various attachments.

I think it's stupid that people get upset over people not wearing gloves. If restraint workers wash their hands regularly every half hour, then it is actually far more hygienic than kitchens where staff wear gloves. The glove wearers will wear gloves for hours without changing them. It's not like your hands create germs, they only transfer them, gloves do that too. But you don't wash latex gloves.

I have had pizza from here, just once in my life.

It was a slice of their $5, already made pepperoni pizza.

It was absolutely delicious. I was surprised how good it was, for the price.

I enjoyed it far better than Dominoes (which, aside from them "redoing" their recipe, still tastes like cardboard to me).

It's much closer to Pizza Hut, Costco or Sam's Club, to my palette, and I would definitely order it again.

For a few more dollars, I am curious to know what a custom, Little Caesar's pizza tastes like.

I've worked at Little Caesars, Pizza Inn, Pizza Hut and now Cici's. All of them used a large wisk. We never used a drill. That falls on poor management not the chain. Little Caesars has the strictest guidelines on how to make their product. This is from my personal experience with these companies

It's called mass production. If people want gourmet quality food. Their best bet would be not to eat at any big food chains. All of that stuff comes pre-mixed and condensed to keep up with customer demand and to keep costs down. Funny how when people see the reality of how the world actually works they get offended. As for not wearing gloves. The food is getting cooked. I'm sure the employee doesn't have shit on their hands. F'n germaphobes. Same types of people that lose their minds when somebody isn't wearing a mask in public. When studies have proven that the states that didn't have any Covid restrictions or lockdowns actually had about as many cases andor deaths as those that did.
