Mmmm. I just made this just now. It was so delicious. Itβs a similar dish we would make in Ireland except we add potatoes, onions, tomatoes, and lots of cabbage. With a wee little amount of dill to give it an old Irish kick of licorice flavor.
Thank you for sharing this video and revamping an old traditional Irish meal I hadnβt had in over 30, 40 years. Iβm glad to see the natives of this land have a similar taste for great things as we do.

My mom and great grandma did that same dish with onions and hot tortillas. I like zucchini and potatoes together also and I remember getting the vegetables from the field to make these dishes as a youngster back on the rez. Now I make that for myself up here in Bismarck ND.

OMG I love this. My mother made this,no meat, she put cheese and white onions in it. We always had garlic bread with it. β€οΈ thank you Yazzie family.

Oh yes! We grew up on that dish but with no meat. My mother would make flour tortillas and save some dough and make fry bread with sugar & cinnamon that was the best dish ever.
