One of my favs also from New England. If we had any leftover boiled dinner Mom would fry it all in a large skillet like hash. So good. I put some bacon & a little thyme in my chowder. It all looked great.
I LOVE a New England boiled dinner! I have really enjoyed watching your channel….we have a lot in common – I am also originally from Maine, and I live outside Raleigh….small world! 😉
WOW everything looked so very good. I remember my Mom making boiled dinners and she always used a giant bologna which were about 4" around and 12" long and we each got a 2" chunk of it. HUGE but it did taste great with the cabbage and potatoes.
Hi Amanda, you said on this video that you are originally from Maine. Where in Maine are you from?
Marley may like a spoon of your liver powder on its dog food every now and then too! Soup looked so yummy, among the other food👍
Those nachos looked delicious!!! I would have been wanting some kinda beans on them, but that’s just me!😊

Try adding a cup of cheddar to the clam chowder. This takes it up a notch on the taste and thickness.

I bought a corned beef yesterday to make boiled dinner! I'm looking forward to it. In my family we always had rutabaga instead of the white turnips.

Growing up we had what my Mom called boiled dinner and it was ham of sorts, potatoes, carrots and cabbage she would boil on the stove top.
