Does your family like potato rolls? We lover sour dough but there are certain sandwiches that we feel do not go good with the sour dough (I use RuthAnn Zimmerman's sandwich sour dough recipe & I make potato rolls so I also started making potato sandwich bread. Your soup & rolls looked delicious!

I dislike cutting squash to haaa it rarely works out. And yes the dreaded peeling… 🙁 And yes anything in moderation is just fine my motto too. I try to use golden sugar or raw sugar haaa feeling better about it but I am sure it is just the same. That soup does look amazing inspiring me to get one going. The buns yumm too. hugs

Growing up there were always small amounts of vegetables leftover from dinner so we had a Tupperware container in the freezer that we’d dump them into. After filling a couple containers, it was time for soup. We’d usually add a handful of dried pasta and a can of tomatoes. Worst part was you could never repeat it since everything was random

Keep the sugar in your diet added in your home cooking. Old recipes have a LOT of sugar that today we might not like! Thinking of tomato sauce and coleslaw! But by cooking from scratch, we can reduce sugar and still have unstressful nutritional meals. This is why I like to cook my meals from scratch and I eat (buy) very little processed foods.

For the pesky cough I recommend boiling a mug of water and add a few shakes of Turmeric powder and Fresh cracked black peppe. You can add juice of half fresh lemon stir and sip . You can add honey if you like. I call it Spicy hot lemonade. 2nd, Before bedtime Mince up a clove of qarlic per person then Leave out on the counter for 15 min to develop the medicinal qualities. Then put it into a tiny shot glass ( size), add juice of 1/2 lemon ( no seeds) and 1-2 Tbsp of Olive oil . Then mix and swallow all. This will work all night as you sleep.

I have found the the Yogi brand Elderberry Lemonbalm or plan lemonbalm very helpful to calm the sinuses and very relaxing to be able to get restorative sleep. You can add honey to the tea if you like. I also have found the Herbal Berry flavored Zinc Cough drops to help a lot but they ruin your taste buts for tasting food. But goo to suck on again before bed and they brush teeth and go to sleep. I caught a wicked head cold a month ago and I took Oregano oil capsules during the day with Emergenc C etc. It worked great in shortening the duraition to 4 days. Hope everyone make a quick recovery. No Dairy ! as that seems to feed coughs. So skip all Ice cream, cheese, milk and yougurt eating till after everyone is 100%. I love your soups !

It amazes me that your kids eat so many different things. When my kids were growing up they would eat pizza or chicken and that’s about it. Not soup of any kind and definitely not a wide variety of vegetables. Since they’ve grown up they eat a more varied menu but never collards lol. 🤣🤣

You don’t even need the seal when you use the Instant Pot to make yogurt because it just maintains temp and doesn’t use the pressure at all. I’ve had no problem making yogurt w/o a seal.

Yes! You can purchase additional rings, or I hang mine outside for a couple of days after washing to dissipate the odor. Unfortunately in your case, the extreme cold temps could prevent this from being possible. (Watching from Texas). Love your channel!

😂 we're -16C in Minnesota today, -27C this upcoming weekend. Now's the time of year we find out if our car batteries are good. 🤞 It was dead a couple months ago and been fine, but the real answer will be over the next week 😂😂😂😂😂

I’m in Australia and we too are having people constantly sick with colds and flus. And it’s our summer!! Go figure! An observation I have is I wonder whether people all around the world have compromised immune systems from the cv 💉. Top epidemiologists did warn and predict that if we mass 💉the world population in a pandemic it could stuff up our immune systems rather than strengthen them. Just thinking out aloud. Had friends and work colleagues constantly sick since the roll out. 😢
