I made loco moco for our get-together family dinner last sunday. It was such a huge hit! We were talking about the different flavors it had. Then we were discussing different proteins and sauses. Chicken was our first one but we could not decide on the gravy. Thank you soooo much for reading our minds. Yes, this will be sundays meal!

@Flo Lum, no worries about calling it a loco. In Hawaii, we call it Katsu Loco. Theres many varieties of "loco moco"…. portuguese sausage loco, hot dog loco. Really, how can you go wrong with topping off your dish with delicious gravy and a crispy fried egg😋😊
