Some channel content really isn't meant for shorts, this is one of those examples. Unless the site wanted to pick one chore, and maybe a sped up video of them doing that chore. It would make more sense to just make longer form videos. I get why you're trying, though. Shorts are easy money compared to longer videos.
The singular soap for everything still exists in the form of Dr Bronner's Castile Soap! It's touted as being 18-in-1, covering body wash, toothpaste, shampoo, laundry and even pest spray!
I imagine back then they do as people now do, and just dilute as needed to cover what you need, and add items where necessary.
I'm from Argentina and in rural areas we use fire to warm the water.
And we take water from a well….white soap ( bandera o zorro) Is use for clothes and washing your hair and body.
My grandma is still doing this.. all of this. Eastern EU.
Nothing wrong with using the same soap to wash everything. We should do it more often now

Washing and drying clothes in the machines, no ironing since modern fabrics come out wrinkle-free and get hung up or folded right away, dishwasher going, Roomba robot vacuum flitting around, coffee pot on timer started brewing, crockpot stew cooking, breadmaker machine going so the bread will be ready with the stew, ice cream maker stirring fresh ice cream, toilet bowl puck in the toilet tank to clean toilet with each flush, carpet and floor cleaning machines… what else is working for us so we can do as little housework as possible?
I remember my Mom on her knees with a bucket and brush scrubbing the kitchen floor, ironing all the time, and one of those washing machines where you had to wring clothes through the rollers, and no clothes dryer since they got hung up inside in the basement or outside on the line. I wonder what conveniences my grandkids will have in another 20 years?
