I am researching which Instant Pot to buy – curious to know if there are models that people prefer specifically for Keto? Or if it really doesn’t matter which one. Also, if I go with the smaller, 3 qt, I feel like I might regret not buying a bigger one later 🤷🏻♀️
If you take the hot lid after cooking and do this "hack", all the water condensation and food debris run down the side of the pot, not to mention burn yourself while trying to do whatever with the lid hanging there. 🫤
I saw a video about it. Do you the one where you use a long spoon under the handle the press the release for slow release? It’s brilliant. And use a large paper clasp the hold the pot in place when stirring or sautéing.

Of course. How could you be so educated and miss this? It is in the manual.
I did know about it, but it doesn't work for me. My only counter spot for the IP has a cabinet above it.
😮 I did not know that you could that!

Thanks
Everyone loves it until they forget it isn’t hinged and they try to close it and crack/break it. I intentionally don’t do this.
This is not a hack, that is exactly what it was made for, its just a product feature.
Yep I knew 😊
My instant pot (name brand) doesn't have that shape lid and handle! sad
Yes I know that hack.
Always read directions

Yes, I don't like that hack. All of the condensation runs off the lid and into that little crevice space that is really hard to clean out.
Gee, I'm jealous, my ancient crock-pot can't do that.
A hack? I believe that's right in the instruction manual. I've known about that since I got mine many years ago when they first came out.
