Wow thanks guys however menopause is so much more than “hot flashes!” Lol
You did not mention Natto.
Soy gives me HORRIBLE hot flashes! Soy feeds pathogens like EBV which is the real reason behind hot flashes.
Really quality information, always, and the high quality studies and everything else the PCRM does are a great service to everyone, and are helping to change mainstream awareness. Thank you.

I'm plant based, can't seem to lose weight – I eat tofu not every day.
Thank you all for all you’ve shared over these videos 👍
Soybeans don't cook like regular beans. They never get completely soft. Soak them overnight until they're like 3-4 times in size. They will actually start to sprout tails. (You can sprout them even longer by rinsing them twice a day for several days.) Then you only need to cook them for 15 minutes. No need for Instant Pot. They will be slightly al dente, but they won't have that raw bean taste. Don't add salt to the cooking liquid — it will keep them harder. Trust me, I'm Asian and I've been cooking soybeans for years.
THIS is just what I needed 😌 Off to buy a bulk bag of soy beans and Dr Barnards new book.
Excellent information as always 🙏🏼thank you
It's so easy to cook without oil.
Thanks so much I am going to make the soy beans! I was eating edamame and had no clue that was not the same as soy beans. This helped do much!

Hi – great video – thanks! Is there a reference or source for the comparison of isoflavone content in soy products?
Thankyou so much for sharing 🙏
A good hack for peanut butter is the powdered variety; I use PB2. You use 2 TB with water (more or less depending on the consistency you like) and it’s only 1.5g of fat (2%). So easy and tasty. I use it all the time in smoothies and on oatmeal.
Dear Dr. Barnard, could you please do a video regarding menopause and depression?
Maybe you can do one on foods for andropause. There seems to be an epidemic of grumpy old men with low testosterone.
Awesome information. Thank you for sharing. ❤️🇨🇦
