Buca di Beppo may not be the first chain that comes to mind when you think of Italian restaurant franchises in the U.S., but that’s partially because Buca di Beppo …
What do you think about Buca di Beppo?
Never had worse Chicken Marsala than the mess they served at Buca Di Beppo. Just horribly sweet, the staff was unconcerned so we just sent it back without replacing it. I came here to see what I am missing, but once I hit the commercial breaks I just gave up.
What a bunch of Longform advertising garbage and why talk about an American rubbish chain with a lady with a grating pseudo posh accent?
The portion are extremely large and you don’t have to share because you can always take some home. The food is fantastic and the people there were friendly and nice. It was I was at Morton’s Steakhouse because of their customer service. I love the Vegas location inside Excalibur.
Mmmmmm the meatballs 😘
One of my first jobs as a high school kid was at a pretty authentic Italian restaurant. Everything from busboy to pizza maker to dishwasher.
Which is why I never ate here
Phil roberts 😂😂😂😂
It's a real downer when you are the only vegetarian in a group of non veg.
Conflict of of history here. When the original owner sold the Beppo. and the two Suits got jail time. Which happened first the sale to Planet Hollywood or the jail time for the Suits?
Buca di Beppo is my first choice for Italian! Nice to live a mile away from one.
Authentic enough.
I like it. An Italian themed version of Cracker Barrel.
I took one of my stripper girlfriend she enjoyed it very well
I worked at Bucca Di Beppo. It's Trash.
Never go there without at least 6 people. The food quality is far superior to other chain Italian places but I wish they didn't serve everything family style. My first time there, I had no idea what was happening when they started bringing so much food. I was planning on going out after dinner but had to carry bags of food home first and meet my friends later.
Great job! 😎
Excellent time was had every single time we have gone. The Pontiff Room is a must with its large round table and the lazy-susan helps to get the food you are craving.
I like Buca Di Beppo's Decor !………….All the Old School pictures of people like Frank Sinatra are cool. My Mom having gone to a Catholic School back in the 50's & 60's would know who all those Old Time Pope's they have photo's of were…….Enjoy the edition of the Pope Francis Bust !
If you are an Italian American you don't really care if the food you are eating is totally authentic to Italy, you care that it tastes like great Italian American food. Oh I had a childhood filled with great Italian American food, I miss my great aunt Rosie's food, she was one of those Italian ladies that made every pasta you could think of and sold it to friends and relatives.
I have been here its pretty good.
Way overrated. Food is average at best. They try to make it up with huge portions.
I love Buca. I miss bring close to one. D:
Buca means HOLE and Beppo is a short form of Giuseppe, which means Joe. So Buca di Beppo means Joe's Hole. I don't know where you guys got your translation… but it seems wrong. And the name is more gimmicky than anything else, as no one in Italy… in their right minds… would ever name a restaurant such a name.
I've been to all in Los Angeles
I'm blown away worst food ever
The one n Kansas City is in a basement!
COINCIDENTALLY THE PLAN HAS BEEN
A FABULOUSLY BACK ENGINEERED RED SAUCE THAT IS EVEN MORE DELICIOUS THAN THE ORIGINAL….WITH A COMBINATION MEAT BALLS AND MEAT SAUCE & SPAGHETTI PRECEDED BY APPETIZER OF THIN CRUST
SUPREME PIZZA ,GARLIC BREAD & FRESHLY GRATED PARMESAN….CABERNET & DEDICATED TO THE PRESENT….
I hope Planet Hollywood doesn't ruin the food
just had this at Universal Studios Hollywood last week on my 22nd bday! definitely would recommend!
Service is tooooooooooooooo slooooooooooooow.
Sorry, but their food is not that great. 👎
Now, I know why it's located in the basement (I always loved that it was in a basement). I've only been to the one in downtown Minneapolis. I used to go there all the time with my friends years ago when I lived in Loring park. There is a Saint Paul location, but, I have never been there. I'm sure it's just as good but I have no idea if that location is in a basement.
Sorry but I can’t share my food with some of my family members…. Herpes simplex 10
Every work night out ended up eating at Buca
Was at the location in Minneapolis was last month as it was my first time…and absolutely fantastic!
Buca is great. The Spaghetti Factory restaurants reportedly have ghosts, though. It’s the old buildings they purchase, I hear tell. 😮
IDEER
In Orlando, our Buca used to be the Bubble Room. Although Buca was good, they didn't hold a candle to the Bubble Room. Very sad to see it go.
Wonderful establishment!
