So, by the nutrition breakdown and ingredients, it looks like LiteLife completely ripped off Beyond Meat's product and are trying to sell it like it's not even a copy. IMO, Beyond Meat should be able to sue Litelife.

Beyond Hot Italian sausages are one of the best vegan meats on the entire planet!!! My meat eating bf loves them so much and asks for them often! My parents love them too.
I do not like field roast at all.
When Boca made their little links yrs ago, before they discontinued them, they were one of my favorites. Too bad they are not still around anymore. They were the closest to regular tasting links.

You mentioned that a usual sausage should have different textures but this is untrue for bratwurst. A proper traditional German bratwurst is not like the usual sausage such as an English sausage which to most:germans they think is fatty and low quality unlike the bratwursts consistent texture

LOVE the NoEvil sausages. I chop them up for my spaghetti sauces. Dee-lish. The chorizo version (El Zapatista) is also super good. Especially chopped and added to a tofu scramble breakfast wrap!

Not a gain of Light Life, Tofurkey, or the Field Roast versions. Love the Gardein as well.

Beyond Meat sausage is hands down my favorite sausage. I have had No Evil sausage before but I wasn't that impressed. It was good but not my favorite. I liked Field Roast sausage but it was too soft for me. I don't mind the Tofurkey i would buy that again if I could not find anything else. I have never bought Light Life because of the reviews I have watched.

Gotta give you props if you can choke this stuff down. I've given up on the fake meats. I' believed hard for so long, but every time I try one (and I've tried a lot), it's just so disappointing. It's like they are made by people that have never had the real thing. I went totally plant based for a little over 3 years, and what I missed most was bacon and sausage. The best thing I can say is about the latest offerings is at least they are not as disgusting as vegan hot dogs.

field roast would have to be my fav. I don't really want my sausage to have a pork flavor personally. That musty flavor i just dont appreciate anymore, like i did when i ate meat.

It sucks that so many fake meat products have wheat gluten and barley in them. Waaaaaaaaahh 🙁

I might have to try making my own someday with frozen vegan becel, some pseudo-beef bouillon, egg replacer and TVP.

All those sausages were surely cold by the time you ate them. The first 2 would have gone cold while you cooked the last 3, which isn't really going to be a fair taste test. Meat does not have the same texture or taste when it has gone cold and generally isn't very nice, so you cannot expect plant based meat alternatives to taste great cold either.

My only requirement with plant based food is simply that it tastes nice. I couldn't care less if it tastes nothing like meat, as long as it tastes good.
To date, every vegan sausage I have tried was pretty horrible. I have only found one vegan sausage that tasted good, which is the Richmond Vegan sausage. I don't know if you have those over there, it is a UK brand.
I gave it to my kids without telling them, and nobody knew it was a vegan sausage, they all thought it was a regular Richmond pork sausage. These are now on my permanent grocery list.

You probably should have used Italian flavor for each brand for a more balanced taste test. I have some No Evil in the fridge but haven't tried it yet. Now I am very curious. Thank you.

If you fry up beyond sausage into chunks and add it to pasta sauce it makes a good meat ball substitute, you have just got to boil it a little they swell and take on the flavour of your pasta sauce..

For a quick snack I warm a corn tortilla on the griddle, cut a sausage lengthwise, top with caramelized onions and top with ketchup. So delicious. 😋😋😋

The Beyond sausage is available in the UK, ‘fresh’ in the refrigerated aisle of Tesco, £5 for TWO! That’s $6.40 😞😞😞 We have a bunch of other brands & store own label, would be pretty neat to get some to you. I work for Fedex, could dry-ice & ship some possibly 🤔
