Hi, I just wanna ask, what to do with the discarded sourdough? Place it in the fridge or need to be use immediately? Can I freeze it until I want to use them or just store them in a room temperature? How long it gonna be turn bad? It just I'm on holiday right now but need to return to college next month, so I don't know how to keep them (feeded sourdough) alive and the discarded too.

Hi, thank you this video, i have watched this a lot of times but this time I decided to make it. I am on day 5th and it’s going perfect but i have one question. After day 7 do I only have to keep feeding the starter without throwing some part of it or do i have keep the mature starter 25g all the time and feed it?

I am so thankful to have just received a starter that is over 100 years old, we baked with it yesterday and it was the best bread I have ever had and it was our first loaf

What should I do with my starter currently?
I’m on day 21 and I’m yet to see it double in size. It gets a little bit bubbly but not “active” as I understand it. I feed it daily with I bleached flour and filtered room temp water. Should I reduce mine to the amount of day 2 and follow your instructions from there?

I have tried making this starter 6 times now. When I cut back on the water amount it gets too thick and won’t rise and fall. I have been playing with flour and water every day for months. I give up this tutorial ain’t it

I followed your starter recipe and got a beautiful result! But then I went and put my started in the fridge 'cos I thought by doing so it I may not have to feed it daily. But it seems to have made it weak! How do I revive it??
