I tried the jambalaya off " The Kitchn" recipe from a Google search twice now, and both came out phenomenal. However, it didn't call for Worcestershire sauce or tomato paste, so I didn't bother, but what I did do was saute the veggies then set them aside just like the sausage and chicken and did the rice with a bit of bacon fat. My goal was to make it so the vegetables came out, Al dante. I'm going to have to give your recipe a try sometime. It looks delicious.

The sausage should be in the jambalaya as long as possible to incorporate those flavors this isn’t really “jambalaya” at all
