Man, you’re so right about gooseberries! Here they’re also called ground cherries. I used to buy those little baskets and loved that no two berries tasted exactly the same… like variations on a musical theme 🙂 Now they’re mass produced with uniform flavour, and they’ve removed the subtle little tart ‘zing’ that made them so bright. Sigh. LOVE this video, for me your best so far. Thanks 🙂 🙂

Honestly just a plane tomatillo is pretty tasty to me, reminds me of an apple. Just tried goose berrys for first time the other day I was thrown off by the citrus taste, I think because it has berry in the name I was expecting something els. Still pretty good. I want to try adding a couple to my salsa verde next time. Also tomatillos are not poisonous, if so I would be dead or at the least got an upset stomach and I did not lol

For those making the tomatillo salsa by the directions in the description, start by juicing 1 whole lime and tasting before adding any more lime juice. Might just be my preferred taste, but I feel like 2 whole limes would've been too much.

Other than that it's a bangin salsa
