Haven’t watched the whole video yet but kinda sad TPL doesn’t have this book to borrow. I’m also someone who loves photos in cookbooks. Though I do adore James Barber’s illustrations in his earlier cookbooks, which are such fun to read. His show was hilarious. RIP, James! Canadians of a certain generation may recognize his name 😂
Great cookbook review. I must say I instantly disliked the cover of the cookbook. It looks like it says PLASTIC. 😂 I cannot wait for your cookbook to come out. Just the way you can save bad recipes is so inspiring. Great work 👍🏼
Jeremy, you and Woolie are so cute, w/your beanies on, in your house! 🎶”Oh! Canada!”🎶🍁
Woolie t-shirt: "It's fine…"
Granola-like cookie = grookie! Wow, this cookbook is terrible, such poor instructions and no photos! I felt so sorry for you during the burnt soup episode, Jeremy, it can be so frustrating to sacrifice good produce to shoddy writing.
Was this cookbook conventionally published? If so where was the editor? Had they never seen a cookbook before? This doesn’t get you off the not following the recipes hook though because clearly this wasn’t a true cookbook or at least not one anybody was supposed to actually use.
Roasting is NOT! that HIGH a temp…it just means longer…so could be 320-350 F
I think Woolie’s haircut is super cute!
. . . luvvvv Woolie's new hairdo . . . she looks cute & sassy to match her super fun personality…. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thanks for the review of this cookbook. The most enjoyable part of a cookbook is looking at the pictures of the recipes. I really enjoy your videos. Jean from Washington State!
Woolie-inspired T-shirt: Whatever … just make it!
She’s awesome ❤
I really like Wollie's hair!
Very flattering!
I definitely love pictures in my cookbooks. Definitely won't be a book choice for me.

I love love love that you make it Whole Foods and change things. That’s what recipe cooking is.
For me it’s a just a guide and I probly only use recipes for ideas and add my own flare.
I’m sorry you didn’t like the book but I totally get that it looks like it’s not cook friendly
I love how honest you are about the cookbook reviews- I know you feel bad, but you shouldn't. Anyone could see the points that you made, and if they aren't going to include pictures of the recipe than they need to be really clear in the instructions.
Thank you to you and the family for taking one for the team. I’ll pass on this cookbook. On a different note – I love lemon curd and I really love lemon curd with gingersnap cookies. Just in case you need something to go with your lemon curd. 😊
I can’t eat raw garlic so I just nuke it or roast or quickly sauté it and the. Use in dressings, etc. It always works just fine!
I'll bet that publisher sends you the book BEFORE it goes to print next time lol! I was so frustrated for you. Imagine someone picking it up who rarely cooks.
“It’s just ingredients mixed together.” This is my new favorite! I plan to use this as often as I can. 😅🥰❤️
Great job on a not so great cookbook.

Eek, ALWAYS use white cane sugar to make lemon curd, or lemon anything
Hi, Diana from central Portugal . Thanks for your vids
I really felt sorry for the family!!! There were so many unlikes. The meal you & Wolly thought up to make sounds good. I would never make any recipes that didnt give us instructions. This book sounds like one Not To Buy!!!God bless you all from grandma Katie in Oregon😊
Wolly look great in any length hair! If she likes something short but a bit longer around her face she would look amazing in a layered A Line cut.
I wish my husband ate as well as Annie. She is doing so good!! I love woolys haircut. And that was quite a clever rescue 😊Take care all.
I think Woolley’s hair looks great. If she styled it (as opposed to her stylist), I’m envious.❤
Not impressed with the book. Thanks for your candor
I really like Ephraim’s idea about some recipes that don’t have instructions and the reader has to go to the channel to watch. Then on the channel, those videos can be only the instructions and not the ingredient breakdown!
I’ve probably commented this before, but one thing about my favorite cookbooks is that they have an index that isn’t the name of the dish (or not JUST that), but also has ingredients indexed. Like if I have squash and want to use it, I can search cookbooks by ingredient. Obviously they don’t go down to the salt and pepper, but breakdown the recipe a bit by ingredient in the index to make it more user friendly.
