Try PIERCING using TOOTHPICK on the BREAST parts and THIGH to DRUMSTICKS and do slices from the INSIDE the BREAST and WINGS, ang SPOON the marinade inside the skin
For goodness sake people it's "PIRI PIRI", not peri peri! I don't know where this ignorant mistake came from. But come on, it seem to have spread a lot more than it should!
BTW this is NOT a South African recipe and never was. It's a VERY old PORTUGUESE tradition/recipe. Which Nando's, diminutive of the very common Portuguese name Fernando.
Took to South Africa, when he left Mozambique (ex-Portuguese colony)! Since the taste is always good. I hope this part also settle for good! Cheers.
