Not everyone has time to do veganism the right way (huge diversity and lots of preparation). Better be omnivore than being unhealthy. That being said these videos are really enjoyable.

Love chickpeas! When making hummus, I use some of the aqau faba. It lends a creaminess to the hummus that is really great. Experiment with the amount of aqua faba you add back in; I use 3/4 cup to the beans from two cans for a great creamy texture.

What a shame being a vegan who absolutely doesn't like chickpeas/hummus/falafel XD even though the crispy baked ones does make me interested. I thought you were gonna talk about chickpea water meringue… which I actually miss a lot!

I adore chickpeas. I’m doing vegan keto for 4 months but when I start reintroducing carbs chickpeas because of the fiber and protein are a good choice. Wish I could make hummus like you do.

I cooked dried chickpeas for the first time ever using the basic chart from your Instant Pot cookbook. Best chickpeas I ever had! I made your Butternut Squash Chickpea Tagine yesterday, and it was wonderful 🙂

I soak them for a couple of days and then sprout them in a kitchen towel for a few more till they get long tails. Pressure cooker the lot in loads of water and salt. You can do a lot with that then 🙂 or just eat it as it is. Such a lovely flavour.

I used to brag that if I ate hummus I was full all day. The truth was, as a blood type A, we don't digest chickpeas well and they mess up our digestion system. Now I sub great northerns for most recipes but the vegan world is fixated on chickpeas which really don't work well for 30% of the population!
