Indus valley civilization consisted of the region of Sindh(Moenjodaro), Punjab(Harrapa),Kpk(Gandhara civilization), Balochistan(Mehergarh) and Kashmir and in 1947 these all people united and gave themselves a new name Pakistan. So this means that Indians are existing because of the region of people of Pakistan.
This is a staple during school holidays in Malaysia when we have lots of boiled eggs from weddings. Just fry them and cook in curry gravy. No methi seeds though. 😄
Methi seeds!?! Oh man, I LOVE them!!! I was first introduced to South Indian food about 20some years ago and I fell in love with the taste! Before I went home (from Ohio) my new (and still) best friend took me to an Indian Grocery and pointed out the seeds. “Why, I shall put them in EVERYTHING”, I said and bought a pound of them. I had no idea what to do with them and never opened the bag. There is Google, you say? ::::shuffling my foot:::: I’m an idiot.
Now Indians will come and say it originated in India but they don't have any evidence for this and for many other dishes.
