I'm not even trying to be healthy. My kids and I just hate creamy, buttery pastas, they allways make me feel like I want to chuck. People put way to much stuff in meals these days.

First potatoes, now pasta–I've seen so many recipes with milk and cream and lots of butter and so on, and never realized or saw mentioned that one could swap it out with yogurt in these particular kinds of dishes, somehow. The cream, etc, makes me feel sick, so I don't try out the creamy _ dishes (didn't grow up eating them to begin with, but I've had to avoid them for a while now). Greek yogurt doesn't have that effect, though, depending on the type–I'm thinking I'll try out some of these recipes of yours the next time I buy yogurt. A lot of what you have on your channel seems to be pretty in line with the sort of cooking I like to do, actually, or very close to it, and with ingredients I already keep around. It's very refreshing! Thank you so much for sharing all these recipes, especially the yogurt ones I mentioned. Looking forward to watching more.

By the way–will 3% non-Greek yogurt also work? I know it's runnier–would it just need a different amount, or something? Or just result in a slightly different final consistency?

I had no idea that room temp yogurt would stop the curd-texture thing from happening. I had been using greek yogurt as a replacement for sour cream for years, but always had trouble with the curdling when heated. This recipe looks delicious and am going to make for lunch today!

    Thank you!

Hi this looks good I’m going to try this as well. If it all possible can you please give the measurement of the pasta in ounces or grams as well as cups? It’s much more accurate. Thank you

This is the first time I ever made pasta. And it turned out AMAZING because of this recipe. Everything was perfect and my family loved it!! The Greek yogurt was a perfect substitute to cream. Thanks for sharing this with us!! 💕💕💕

EDIT: Serve immediately or remove from heat and add yogurt and pasta just before serving. The sauce does dry out if left to keep warm.

This took less than a half hour! I used Hungarian paprika, and it tasted like paprikash. You can't tell the difference between plain Greek yogurt and sour cream. Thank you and I will be sharing this.💜

Can i store the leftover in a container in the fridge and then later heat it in a pan on the stove? Would you recommend this or no?
If not could i just use half of each ingredient you listed to make one portion instead – would that taste the same?

I really enjoy and like your receipts and style of presentation. The receipts seem relatively easy to make. What I would encourage you to do is to make suggestions for complimentary dishes to serve with the dish in the video. I think chicken would go with this but would like you suggestions on this. Lastly, can you give a description of the cast iron pan used to make the dressing? The manufacturer?
