I like this version for Carnitas. I saw that the lard was a different color than we normally see, is it a particular brand, or? As always, a fabulous recipe. Have you thought about doing a cookbook of your recipes? They are so good, I would love to buy one π

Haven't seen this show for a few years, now I see Claudia transformed into a Barbie. I made this tonight and it was awesome, never made it before so before it got done I posted it did not look the same as hers I thought I did some wrong but in just a half hour the liquid turned a clear brownish instead of milky, I was relieved. Now asking does anyone strain and save the lard? Not sure because of the coke and evaporated milk.
