I was like fuck that, we are hitting the local mom and pop spots. Cus you know you are gonna get more than your money’s worth and it’s gonna be 🔥.
I remember traveling to Chicago for work and we were in a “sketchy” neighborhood. Hit up this local gyro place that served food behind bullet proof glass. Had a pile of lamb meat that could feed a family of 4 and it was delicious.

I notice small, humble places can afford to put more love in their recipes because they don't have huge rents or loans to pay off. So long as the hygiene is on point, I'm with it.
I went today because of this video. Got there at 12 and there was a long line lol. It was to be expected. They offered water's and Popsicles to us due to the heat. I got the seafood pasta. They limited the orders to 2 a piece to keep up with demand. All because of this video!!! The pasta was good. They definitely give you your money's worth and then some. They're DEFINITELY gonna need a bigger place by next weekend lol. This video has definitely blessed this business, and I'm glad I was able to support a black owned business ❤
