    Thank you so very much for your video, I bought an electric ice cream maker 3 or 4 months ago a recipe book came with my machine on how to make homemade ice cream I just didn't want to use the recipe n I been looking for a recipe on YouTube n I came across yours on July 6th today n I decided to use your because you makes it plain n simple in explaining it n my mom use to make up the custard back in the days she has passed away n we never wrote the ingredients down n yes she used raw eggs but thank you so much n God Bless You!!!!

    My mom’s family is in South Catalina and at our family get togethers there would be 10 or more ice cream makers going at once. Some electric and some hand crank. All different flavors and each one was handed down for generations. Love and miss those times. I now live in the Philippines and I am getting a ice cream freezer shipped here and I am going to make it for my family and friends here who have never had anything like this.

    I love homemade ice cream and this looks delicious. . The controversy about using raw eggs is it's been said that raw eggs could possibly contain salmonella. When they say pasteurized, they are supposed to be okay to use.

    Chef this is the way and recipe my mother used, we added fruit for strawberry etc. Like you none of us died from the raw eggs. We just beat the eggs and sugar together then added milk and other ingredients. Only thing I add my mother didn’t use is condensed milk. Chef I am 67 and have been using this recipe since I married 47 years ago.
