    In Catalonia, where Aioli is originary from, we only made it with olive oil and garlic (and a little bit of pepper if you want). The word Aioli in fact is Ai= All, oli = oli, in catalan All i Oli which litteraly means garlic and oil. You should try to make the original one, it's not easy at the beginning but i'm sure you can do it without any issue. Just try out the original All i oli 😀

But brother, I live in a SMALL town on the Oregon coast where we just don't have access to those, or any, really good ingredients.(Think – very basic small-town grocery store). PLEASE, I very much enjoy your videos and great food. But I strongly prefer to shop local, i.e. NOT Amazon. Will you consider a mini segment for those of us fortunate enough to not live in San Diego with constant gardener and neighbor dog interference?? Dammit, Astro, STFU!! 😉 Still have the flies, though. Neighbor has cows and horses 🙁
    Don't get me wrong, please keep up your great videos with scrumptious food! They are always inspiring.
    But too many YT channels these days are focusing on the hard-to-attain ingredients and, honestly, just F-ing bizarre ideas.
    I know you've been at this awhile (yes, I've been watching that long) and you need to keep coming up with new, and great ideas. But we still need food we can prepare within reason.

    Sam, I hope you never change. There's people on here like Quang Tran and KBD Productions that have strayed away from what made them fun to watch. Quang basically buys his food always made and records himself eating it. He used to make his own pasta and buns for fuck sake. KBD Productions put effort into his videos years and years ago. I loved the introductions. His videos from the last couple years have been lackluster. No cool music, no drive-thru check. Not a lot of effort anymore.

    Lose the lettuce and this is perfect (double batter the shrimp and fry in oil). The lettuce would become hot and soggy from the burger. Therefore it would be wasted on the flavor profile.
