    Hi, this looks so tasty i really want to try it, but i was wondering whether I could replace the pork belly with beef? Also, I love that you always tell us what‘s optional in your recipes, this makes it makes it way easier if you don‘t have one of the ingredients 😀

    I actually applauded when Claire managed to get that first bite of food in her mouth. If I could I would get on a plane and fly to korea so I could eat this . It looks absolutely delicious just like everything you make.

    as a korean im pretty sure jjajangmyeon isnt supposed to be stir fried. there's another name for that.
    Edit: its called chaengban-jjajang, as someone else mentioned in comments.

    This looks seriously delicious and I have all the ingredients on-hand. I may make this for dinner tomorrow. The trouble is, it's a lot, and the leftovers call my name at 11 PM from inside the refrigerator! (And I know I can halve the recipe – but I won't! LMAO!)

    I always make Jjajangmyeon for my siblings, I introduced them to this dish and now it's a staple at my house, my sister even says it is her favorite food now. We have to have it at least once a week, even if its just the instant jjajang ramyun. I always make sure to add either pork belly or thick cut bacon, onions, and green onions to the instant version at the very least to make it even better. We also most of the time pair it with a good, fatty steak! It's just an incredible combo.
    Oh and my mom keeps asking me for the recipes so I just keep sending her the links to your videos 😌🤟💜

    Ha! Deserted island. Castaway on the Moon, one of my favorite movies. I don't know if I would scrape bird poop to get seeds for noodle flour but ya never know. Jjajangmyeon is really good. 🙂

    I'd did tried this dish twice in a Korean restaurant here in the US (Tampa Florida) and it was awful. I love noodles but was turned off by the bitter taste of it. Yet, Claire said it has a sweet taste, I believe I need to make it your way Aaron to enjoy it as Claire obviously did.
