Imagine recommending a meme oven instead of the Anova Precision oven. I guess Anova isn't kicking back money to Cook's Illustrated. The Anova isn't a "smart" oven because there is actually a learning curve to figure out what works best. I was able to sous vide cook a 15lb turkey to 140°F and the whole thing came out uniform and perfect. This was all without a bag. Idk why they are recommending an oven that is around that same price without the features to compete.

I got the mDesign rack in white and I love it. I finally have an easy way to store all my spices, although it's hard to see the labels on 0.3 oz mini jars if you don't get the clear model. My shelf has room for a row of short bottles in front of my rack, but it's something to keep in mind.

Bamboo Spoons are better. I can vouch for how quickly Bamboo Grows. I'm also very pleased with Bamboo Spoons and if I (rarely) need to replace one, it is guilt-free. I cannot say the same for Teak, a Rainforest product.

Hey Lisa how's it going I really liked the lodge grill that you showed that you recommended you said was like 45 bucks I went to look for it I found it and it was like 75 bucks I find a bunch of other ones that looked kind of like it they were cheaper but they didn't have the way the thickness or they were just very cheaply made the other ones that I found but I wasn't expecting on spending like 75 80 bucks you know so I think you need to if you give a price on something make sure that that's the price is all I'm saying but I love your show I'll watch you guys all the time but I was really disappointed and not being able to find that that particular pan for the price that you said or suggested all right you have a good one happy holidays Merry Christmas Happy New Year All that jazz LOL take care have a good one bye

I just love this channel. And I don’t really cook. When I do I think I find it easier by using your recommended pieces and I find it super handy when it comes time to buy gifts for the cooks in my life.

If you like cooking, chances are you enjoy making things yourself. Look up your local spoon maker, woodworker, bushcrafter and learn to make your own spoons. Financially completely superfluous, but oh so satisfying!

How much rice would a person have to make to justify a single-use rice cooker? Amortized over the life of the cooker, I'm guessing quite a lot. Storing it in-between uses is also a chore. I suggest the simple pot method.

I have had the same rice cooker for several years now. It is smaller than these and less costly so I eat alone most of the time and it's perfect for me. When I need to feed more people I do it in a pan on the stove which is always been very easy for me to get perfect rice that way as well. I just can't justify almost $200 for a rice cooker but I do love my little rice cooker and it will make several servings but who eats a measured serving?! 🙂

Such a great lineup! Will I ever have enough room on my kitchen counters? When I see those items, I don’t care! I’ve been watching ATK for decades and it never fails to offer up new delights.
