Instant Pot Egg Muffins:

Place the steamer basket (or trivet) inside, and lay the potatoes on top or in the basket.

This is the Instant Pot I have (yes it is the cheaper one and I love it!): http://amzn.to/2F3Lznx

If you are cooking for 1-2 people I would suggest the 3 Quart. If you are cooking for more, I would suggest the 6 quart!

Tried the cake recipe and after 45 min it came out all gooey in the middle, as in sill batter. I read elsewhere that instant pot recommends 1.5 cups minimum in the 6 qt pot. So I did 1.5 (not sure why now that I think about it, if it was bad for the pot why would Kristen do it to hers?). Can the extra half cup really make that much a difference? Or would it not cook all the way if the foil wasn't fully secured? (though I'm pretty confident I got that part right)

Ok I’m confused. Do accessories have to be specifically made for the instant pot, pot in pot, steamer baskets, higher trivets etc.? Or just heat resistant stainless steel, oven safe glass??????

Hi i am new to the instant pot and am loving it and your recipes! I have a question about the cake recipe above, if i follow the box recipe it states to put it in the oven for 35 minutes but with this it says to put it in the instant pot for 45 minutes. is this true that i put it in the pressure cooker for longer than i would put it in the oven? i just want to clarify before i try it if this is the correct time for the IP.

I did hard boiled eggs in my pressure cooker, they turned out perfect. 1cup water in the pot add trivet and number of eggs you want I did three. Same time no matter how many. High pressure for 5 min. Natural release for 5 min. Release any remaining pressure. Take eggs out and put in ice water in a bowl for 5 min. They peeled so easy

I do not like the cheese cake. I made two of them and they are pudding like. Perhaps if I put them in the oven, they will change texture????? Has anyone every reacted to instant pot cheese cake like me.???? I just think I like traditional in oven water bath cheese cake.
