First, thank you Aunt Vicki ❤! Brooke, thank you yet again for teaching me a skill I will use for years! You amaze me! Don't give the Negitive Nellie's and Canning Karens free rent in your head, you are doing a spectacular job combating food insecurities. Thank you!

I just recently found a channel called Make It Make. I think she lives in Amish country and has an Amish friend who she has interviewed, learned from, and tested out on her own some Amish ways of canning. They water bath everything, including meat, and always have. The main thing I think I have learned from her is that there are many ways to do things, and everyone needs to do their own research/learning and do what they feel is right for their family. Like Brooke, she is very kind, caring, and honest!

Ok, I love the recipe. So, I am a USDA Master Food Preserver. I don't see a problem with the process. You're using pressure canner and the correct amount of time for your elevation. I plan to try this. ❤

I have never had Spam in my 50 years of life. I have been leery of the mystery meat. I might actually make this though. It seems like something we would enjoy. Thanks for the video!

Thank you for the detailed recipe and method for making “spam”. I am going to pass this on to my son who has begun learning to can. This is something he can take on camping and hunting trips.

You would have been my dad's favorite daughter, he loved Spam and home canned anything. Mom canned everything, we didn't have electricity, our pork sausage was even canned and delicious..

You are awesome! I love canning and have canned lots of meat (15 pounds pressure for 90 minutes instead of 75 minutes), but I've never even heard of canning your own Spam. I'm trying it right away! We love fried Spam sandwiches.

Love your videos. Do you think you could show me how to can zucchini relish? I found out that's my favorite I'd buy it from a Farm Stand. But if you could show me how to make it I would love it
