I knew it was never the best thing to do when preheating your pans but I do the exact same thing that Tiff does. I get a little bit of water to test the surface of the pan.

It’s really cool tiff likes cooking now but I don’t agree with her feeling guilty not being a “mom in the kitchen” for her kids personally it sounds like internalized sexism. I don’t think cooking in the kitchen should be a requirement for being a good mother.
Looks so good but masa looks so dry that’s why it’s loose around the meat and it won’t be easy to spread on the corn husk. It’s okay to add more broth or lard to make it easier to spread. Overall, looks delicious❤️
