I’m sorry but can someone tell me what happened to the egg yolks ? Does he put it in the chocolates or what ? Thank you
Is it only good for 2 days in the refrigerator. You said you can keep it in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. I just need some clearity.
Whoops, left out the yolk sugar mixture.
How about a dairy free gluten free rece pie?
Nice I hope I can learn to make this for my bf. Thanks for sharing. 😂😄😃
Ok did I miss something? where do you mix the egg yolks?
Will there be any difference if i pasteurize the eggs first?
How much chocolate?
Thank you man I am literally 12 and I made this and it tasted so good. Thank you!!😁
It's my birthday today (April 10th, 2022)
I didn't know what I wanted to make for my guests, but now I do, thank you for this. You make it seem so easy & very tasty.
John you should team up with Jamie (Anti-chef) for a recipe… He did a chocolate mousse also.. I think you two would be hysterically funny. Total opposites in cooking style. ❤️
Let’s add espresso!
You caught my like with “virgo mind”. I feel you brother.
“poh” du creme.
Hi, love your Chocolate Mousse recipe, I am a Diabetic type 2, and was wondering if you had a good recipe for me?
My family made chicken with mustard-mushrooms-gravy using heavy cream. Had leftover heavy cream, thankful I found this recipe
You are my go-to guy for when I need a dessert to turn out GREAT!
It's super super easy to separate the yoke and whites in a bowl with a large table spoon…. You're welcome..
He didn’t use the yoke of the eggs?
Hi first of all, I am grateful to come across your channel, and I am looking forward to trying out every one of your recipes! Quick question, what happens to the egg yolks that were set aside? Do we add it during the heating of the cream stage then let it cool down before adding it to the ganache mixture?
I don't think I would add the liquor but I definitely would add an Orange extract or or maybe some strawberry that would go good or cherry yum
Did the chef use egg yolks? I didn't see it somehow!
No It is the easiest thing to make
LOVE YOU…you make a cook book!! ❤️❤️
Gracias por compartir I loved 🥰
That dislike was accidental AF. Quickly removed. My bad bro. You're too chill, & bring some heat with the recipes.
One month later, lol. Can't say enough good about this recipe dawg. Added a touch of Jack Daniel's for an almost umami vibe.
When did u put the egg yolk in Jhon??
Please tell me I'm a little confused was it at 3:56
YOU ARE SO WONDERFUL, THANK YOU FOR SHARING, GOING TO MAKE YOUR MOUSSE RECIPE !!
Indeed the best chocolate mousse recipe…Thank you so much Chef!!!
You said add a healthy dollop of whipped cream on top, but all I saw was a tiny bit. I like to put about a quart of whipped cream on it. That's healthy right?
Uhhh my egg whites and sugar is still left behind. I re watched the video but can't see where and when I need to Include this
This method is fine i'm sure, but the traditional method isn't that hard.
It might've been do to my impatience. But I failed at this recipe. Lol! Well the chocolate foam I managed to make tasted okay at least…. Whelp. Into a coffee recipe it goes.
What if you’re allergic to eggs? Can I substitute?
Holy Moly! I just made this and it was a was a big hit! This converted a mousse-hater into a fan!
Itt was also fun to cook but had challenges. Here are the adjustments I made along the way:
I home pasteurized my eggs, since one of my household is pregnant. I took my eye off the cream and it developed a little skin, but I was able to skim that out easily and salvage the cream. I had trouble with getting the whites to whisk, so I thought, why not just add the cream and whisk them together? It worked great! The mixture fluffed up and actually got stiff enough I had to whisk (rather than fold) it into the chocolate to fully incorporate.
Despite the minor deviations, the outcome was 5 stars and will definitely be made again.
I messed it up because from 3:51 – 3:58 you were stirring the chocolate mixture then it popped to showing you mixing it in the bowl… I thought it was just put in a bigger bowl to add the other ingredients and when all finished I had the yolk/sugar mixture left! I quickly mixed it in after the fact and the mousse didn't deflate too much but I wanted others to be aware in case they are beginner dessert makers like myself.
He totally skipped what to do with the egg yolks and sugar didn't he?
I love your cooking
Your style of cooking
Also Your dishesh
Wait what, what about the raw egg whites? Does the chocolate and whipping cream mix cook the eggs??
Is there a difference between this mousse and the kind you put between layers of cake?
Maybe some rum flavoring extract extract or mint and flavoring
He has a vocal fry so annoying.
BEST INTRO FORMAT IN HISTORY! In 5 short seconds I know who the author is, what the subject is, and am enthusiastically encouraged to engage. Bravo, maestro!
Can we use milk instead of heavy cream?
id love to make this but i have one question, how much cream do you add into the recepe? I understand that its 300 ml at first but later you add more in another step so I don't know the total amount of cream since you didn't add the amount in ml with the next steps..
