you do you.May I ask, when and why did you get so committed to sticking to your plan? I have seen almost all your videos but were you sick with health issues or was it just the 100 lb excess weight reason for your commitment I plan on being more disciplined like you.

Happy Holidays Ms Lulu, admire your tenacity, discipline and
responsibility towards your person. It is a very tough thing to do, but it is possible. You are a great example to follow. So inspiring and understanding towards others. Big hug❤

This is a question actually during my first view of this video and I didn’t want to forget it. I’ve been considering a bra like that but was afraid that fabulously thin material under the arms would make me sweat. Would you recommend it for everyday comfort? 😂 lol

Thank you Lulu and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Your words give me strength. For 33 years, I have eaten similarly to you, in order to stay healthy, and for me, to prevent a recurrence of intestinal candida which I got from too many doctor-prescribed antibiotics from a botched diagnosis. There is no "cheating" if I want to maintain my health. I also bring my own food to social events and rarely eat out. But dealing with people's negative reactions is the hardest part for me. Especially from new people. My friends tolerate how I eat.

I'm weary of being asked "What do you eat for a treat?" I get so frustrated with this question because, like you, my everyday foods ARE the treat because I feel healthy on a diet free from sugar, glutens, yeasted products, dairy, red meat, and processed foods. Your answer was perfect – just tell them that your everyday foods and ongoing health is the treat.

Also, bringing my own food to social events is tricky because the hostess will invariably insist "just tell me what you can eat and I'll cook it for you". One time I relented under pressure, and allowed her to make me some plain white rice. One bite of the innocuous-looking rice told me she had added a bouillon cube which is full of yeast extract. She admitted she had done so "just for flavor". If I had eaten it I would have gotten sick. Now, I just bring my own food for peace of mind.

But people's critical reactions continue to be the hardest part, even after 33 years of this. It was inspiring and comforting for me to hear how you live your life with food as nutrition, not entertainment. Thank you Lulu!

It looks like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I really hope to see you on the road. I'm just getting started. My van is being converted and should be ready next month. If you are passing through SE PA and want/need a stop , you are welcome here!
