have to hand it to you, looks pretty good.
Tex Mex beef tip and gravy > what they do here in Texas, just make a beef tip gravey. he hee i always have brisket so i use that too. They don't use tomato's in it , garlic, onions jalapeno's No BAY LEAF Cumin yes salt and pepper I love Carne Guisada on soft flour tortilla YUMMY
That's carne asada. Same thing with gravy is carne guisada greetings from Deep South Texas
The only liquid that should be used in this TexMex dish is beer. The alcohol will cook out for those of you who don't drink. You did a great job and the flavor is probably better because you left it sit overnight. Thanks for this recipe.
I just ate that and OMG I pooped my pants
I'm sorry but that is not carne guisada
Gorgeous presentation sir!! Very simple recipe too 🌞
He plated this better than the restaurant plates it lol ❤I making this tonight
Hi im from Mexico, this version is the Tex Mex… actually in some places they add some cheese at the end in that juicy gravy and its really tasteful.
Now the Mexican version doesnt add flour, or at leats never seen it that way. its just a stew or fried meat with tomatoe, pepper and onions. (Id preffer the TexMex version)
looks good homie!
looks soooooooooo good .. but i dont have bay leaf or spanish seasoning .. any substitution
awesome job! love it
This made my night! Marry meeee!!!!! Hahaha
Jk but great video
Made this yesterday. Excellent.
James this looks amazing. You can taste it through the monitor. Hope you're doing well, Merry Christmas to you and yours!
YUM!
Thanks! This looks so good. I will definitely have to make this. Is the Mexican Oregano different from the McCormick brand oregano we have at the grocery store?
This is really good. I made it with the exception of the bay leaf (because I'm lazy and didn't shop for any) and I cheaped out with the beef. It's delicious and I was surprised how well it came together and thickened. Better beef like yours would have given me a better texture. Next time! Definitely making this again.
Nice cook James.I Love Mexican food that was right up my alley. Thanks for sharing
Great looking Tex-mex James! The sauce of the stew and your presentation it looks delicious!
Yum, this looks great!!
Now there is a very hearty dish – perfect for this time of year up here in the north east.

More liquid would have made it more tender, I love the recipe and will try it cooked with refreshing the liquid with beef stock. Thank you .. It promises to be delicious 🙂
