I received one as a gift and was so excited, except it never worked once out of the three times I’ve tried it. It just turns back to warm setting and doesn’t reach pressure at all. Tried troubleshooting and added more liquid, no change and ruined food 😫
Why did she have to lie repeatedly? I searched for a Tefal video to explain the product, and now feel really negative about it.
– She said she was going to cook risotto in 6 minutes. Then she browned it and said it would take 6 minutes from there. Then she said the 6 minutes would start when the machine had come up to pressure. So nothing like 6 minutes.
– And she said it took her hours to make risotto previously. Given that we're starting with all the ingredients prepared, how the hell could that be? More like 10 minutes, with no need for anything to come up to pressure?
What is 'lock it up'. The lid on mine has never locked.
I hate it. The lid won't secure. I've never made anything in it. Now it's just taking up space.

I dont like to HATE but i dont like liars…Saying risotto taking HOURS to make LOL. Risotto only takes 18-20min to make… Stop lying just bcuz u wearing a Tefal apron….

i just got an electric pressure cooker was cluuuuuuuuuueless how to use it so your video really helped can you talk a bt about how much water to put for various stews etc and how the heck do you Roast?? its a steam pressure???? confused dot com 🙂
Ok I have a Tefal Minut pressure cooker … But after a few months of use it has trouble with building up pressure and or the timer count down will do 1-2 minutes and then beep to say it's down no matter what the time is set for … this is not just happening to mine but also to a friend that I bought one for also … so please I would like an answer as your products are not cheap by any means and it is very hard to find a page related to trouble shooting for the pressure cooker …
When the pressure builds up it takes 6 min, How long does that take 2 hours ?

ps. like others, my recipe cover came off in first days too – BUT the pages have proved to be well bound and so the recipes are still easily usable. But it would be good to access a recipe from my ph when i am shopping..

HI, I love the minute cook and like Alexismac my book fell part on the second time I opened it but I am not worried about that. I have tried some of the recipes and mostly they have turned out edible. I'm getting better at it. Also, I have tried using the SLOW COOKER recipe bases with chicken and lamb/beef and they work just fine in the minute cooker. I added a bit more water. However, I now need NEW recipes. Where can I get a new recipes? How do I cook plain rice and plain pasta? Can I make pot roast? Love the demonstration here, very easy to watch but my hearing defecit makes it difficult to hear every word, so would like to be able to print out. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Can't watch this; can't her her talk with that crappy thumping noise (did you call it music?????) in the background. How do you think imposing that crap on us promotes your product. I was interested now I'll look elsewhere.
Can Tefal get off its ass and load the pdf version of its cook book for download as the book that comes witht he Minut falls apart….
