So sorry I've only just gotten round to watching this! So glad you were able to join in with us again. We actually took a little break from it at the end of 2020 and only brought it back at the start of January so don't worry about not doing it because we were all on a break as well.

I used a normal kettle and a thermometer forever and then was gifted a temp variable one from a brand called WeeKett recently and its fantastic changed the game for me! I can control it from my phone, set auto boils for certain times like alarms and it's so handy

Hmmm you've got me thinking. I use a kettle but it's just a regular ol' boil kettle. I really don't like green tea and i'm wondering if it's because I'm not brewing on the right temp!
Bookmarked the Breville – maybe for my birthday.

Variable temp kettles changed the game for me!
If anyone is holding out for a Breville, Homegoods and the TJXX chains sometimes sell the Breville Tea Maker for like $75-99, where it retails for like $250. I've seen a few since I got mine from Teavana a while ago, but always am super happy to see them!

So I heard that DAVIDSTEA is coming out with new teas in February these are the names

Here are the list of teas with quick descriptions for you to talk about:

    (1) Alpha G: an erotic mix of grapefruit, guava, Granny Smith apple, and ginger. Sure to unleash your wild and freaky side! Best served cold with a slice of lemon. This is sure to be a hit, as it turns into a beautiful neon green color when ready to drink. Green tea.

    (2) Kama Sutra: mango lassi takes the lead in this sensual concoction, which also blends together sacred cow’s milk from India, and healing spring water from Goa. Perfect for a cold day, and amazing for lattes! Green tea.

    (3) Arteris Dewberry: named after a former prince, this righteous and elegant drink packs a punch. We call it the BBC. Blending blueberry, blackberry, and cranberry. As well as other secrets that will be sure to tickle your fancy! Can be served hot or chilled. Add a dash of your favorite vodka to really set it off! Green tea.

Great video. I think variable temperature kettles are the way to go even though I waited a while to get one. My theory was to make use of what I had until the right deal came along. Last summer I picked up an OXO Gooseneck for 50% off during a 4th of July sale on the Macy's website. Turned out to be a fantastic kettle that has served me well.
