Douwe Egbert's Gold or L'Or Classique, whichever is cheaper at the time. Aldi's Specially Selected instant coffee is also pretty good though, and a lot cheaper.
Edit: You described Douwe Egbert's Gold as "harsh and bitter", and L'Or Classique as 'super weird, lighter, didn't like it'. Both lost their respective matchups.

The people in the countries that grow the beans do those jobs because there are not other options. At least the coffee companies are providing some jobs, without them people have to work even harder to get by.

i know you already tested alot but theres one called juan valdez, i drank it for a long time its freeze dried so its not sitting around long at the processor till it dries. its super fresh tasting. it even fizzes a bit when you add it to the hot water or vise versa.
I chose this winner coffee couple of days ago to try. I choose coffee based on the size of seeds and their color. Certainly, it has the most well shaped and biggest size beens among all competitors. I loved the color as well. Not dark and too bright. I tried it and I loved it. My stomach is sensitive and normally cheap quality coffees hurt. This one was good and I could tolerate.
I wonder if you dare to taste socialism coffee with traces of coffee and a fair amaount of saw dust in it… hey, you don't have to!
