Guess we will be snobby together. I wash my veggies, potatoes, meat & poultry too. I thought everyone does this too. My grandmother taught me. Its called having clean food. No dirt, others hands on what we eat. Luv ur cooking.

Very much appreciated, I have only had chicken soup with celery and carrots, Im definitely going to try this, When I was opening a package of whole chicken a large worm fell onto my hand, it was inside the cavity of the chicken,so yes, I believe in rinsing off food, that really grossed me out.

Wonderful healthy soup, Thank you Carli! Perso, I find that yam + potatoes is way too much, and being a ''Frenchie'', I prefer adding leeks than cabbage, but it's all good 🙂

those little baby carrots are not the true deal and I always put in real carrots and put the skins after washing in with the chicken also celery after washed.

Shucks, I need to see you pour the water into the pot because I don't know how. I live on a farm and my chickens are organic. I use the whole chicken and the feathers add to the fiber but sometimes get caught in my throat.

I still give you thumbs up bcos of the way you talked about the nutrients and nutritional value in the produce. You must be in healthcare or medical field of some sort. Your cooking is good. But next time try to wash the potatoes while people watch and cut off all the black spots on the potatoes. Stay healthy and safe.

Next time take the skin off b4 you cook it bcos the fat you're trying to avoid is already in the broth now. There is also much more fat in chicken thighs. Get rid of all the fat b4 you cook chicken.
