    Hi, just a general tip, have you tried using the stem from broccoli? Cut about 4 or 5mm slices, put in a veggie stir fry. Absorbs the flavours beautifully and you can either cook it quickly & retain the crunch, or a bit longer if you want it softer. I used to throw it away!

    My grandmother used to cooked kiam peng and she mixed it all up plus with mustard & radish (fermented) and lots of other veggies can be added in it to make it look dark green then, she will add homba. That's my grandmother's "kiam peng". 😁😋😍

    Your mother must be a great cook back in the day… My family never use the Rice Cooker to cook anything other than Rice. This recipe has bring a unique perspective for me, seems complicated in technique, but actually easy in execution, Thanks Roland!
