Hey, thank you ! My dog had stopped eating her dry dog food . She would go the entire day without eating . I changed her Dog food thinking that would help but I just made it worse . My dog had an allergic reaction that almost killed her . I started cooking home made dog food myself . She is much happier and now demands to be fed on schedule 🤣. Thanks again .

How do you introduce this to a lab who’s 14 & been on kibble her whole life? Trying to extend her life as she’s running out of steam if I don’t change up her diet.

I saw part with dogs eating at start and I was like Nooo, he's cooking the meat? I obviously could tell cuz everything was brown. Then I saw All the good meat & stuff and thought what a Waste of good meat, etc. But, really RAW meat with mixed beans, carrots, eggs is 100 better. Y'all just cooked all the vitamines & All Nutrients Out. Just cuz We like our food cooked doesn't mean its Healthy fur our pets. I get they love it, but Raw is better, thats what ALL wild big cats & wolves, coyotes, dogs , etc eat. After you were done cooking it looked like slop, not healthy that's for sure. And of course they Love it, its not Dry crap they gotta eat daily ….lol. I also Know y'all Love your Dogs or surely wouldn't be buying good stuff & cook fur them.

… but putting heat to it? doesn't that just defeat the raw-diet? i thought the whole purpose of switching our dogs to this is to make it as if they are in the wild – as their stomachs are prepared to handle. never seen a wolf or wild dog boil or simmer their food. just asking.

I know to give my 87lbs goldendoodle about 1.7lbs of food for the whole day..
I will be splitting it into two meals. Out of the 0.8lbs per meal how many oz of muscle meat, how many oz of liver, heart, brain etc, etc..? And once again how would I meet his bone/ minerals requirements?

I would like to cook my dogs fresh food cause of fear of spreading salmonella to my baby, my nephews and ourselves. Have a 87lbs goldenddole that looks like a teddy bear who loves to cuddle with everybody specially my baby and kids…I know not to give my dog any cook bones cause it's dangerous. So what's the difference and if I cook it how will I give him his mineral requirements which come from bones since I won't be giving him any raw meat??
Also been doing lots of research on cook food recipies but tje ingredients are different than barf diet in terms of nutrition. In a lot of cook rwcipies they don't include organs and bones( I know cook bones are bad for dogs) organs have alot of nutrients and bones minerals etc
