I believe the axiom you were looking for is: You can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs.
However if they are a snotty mess on your counter you are entitled to despise their very existence until it has all been cleaned up. Great video!

To easily clean up a dropped egg sprinkle a lot of table salt on it. Allow the salt to absorb up the egg. Then use a dry rag to wipe it into bowl or sweep up into a dust pan. The egg is like yellow sand and so easy and sanitary to dispose of.
If you sprinkle it with salt it will solidify and be easy to scoop up
