Interesting about toothpaste – in nz the only vegan one I can find in supermarket is Colgate. And on the tube or box it says “always vegan and sugar free”

People tend to rinse rice because of the arsenic content, which apparently is worse in brown rice just so you know. I rinse it now when I make rice myself but didn't used to.

The curry paste looks easy to do. The chickpea and spinach curry looks so scrumptious. Your naan breads are huge, here they are probably half the size.
