Splenda is one of the major cancer causes, please people avoid any kind of sweeteners and you always can use small amount of real honey instead of cane sugar and your blood sugar will not spike same way as sugar because honey take longer to digest, it must be a real honey not faked by feeding bees sugary water.

Ok, get your blood sugars stable, have a bit of cheese before you go to bed, and check your blood sugars in the morning, very high. Diabetic cooking is as much about fat content as carbs. Cheese, cream? this can be as bad as carbs.
To get my blood sugars under control i have to deal with both fat content and carbs. And i'm not over weight and type 1

Thank you for this recipe. My MIL and SIL are both diabetic and I'm trying to plan my honey's birthday, making him his favorite dessert, but so that it's cohesive for everyone to enjoy. I wondered two things: 1) What size pan did you use? and 2) Can this recipe be cooked the way I traditionally bake cheesecake, by lining the pan with foil and placing it in boiling water?

I'm a Type 2 and do not appreciate your comment! I'm 5' 5" 110lb never really liked sweet stuff. But thanks to my gene, I got gestational diabetes during pregnancy and now Type 2. Not all of us are what you call dumbasses keep eating the same shit that made them a Type 2. Also studies shown that the genes are to blame not so much of what you eat.

@Hope1981ful obviously my comments were not meant to seem insensitive or the sort and it may not be obvious then but should be now that I don't have a real firm grasp on diabetes except the general overview. Personally, I cannot stand the taste of diet sodas or the thought of ingesting that chemical. The taste aside I have also convinced myself that the conspiracy theorist are right in that it is carcinogenic. So is breathing and living but that's another debate for another time.

@supercooled I understand that most people don't like artificial sweeteners but when you have diabetics stuff with sugar even if you eat less of of it can spike your blood sugar. You even have to be careful with fruits so i am so happy that i found this video!!

I don't like artificial flavours. I think with the obesity epidemic people try to mitigate their consumption all the wrong way by using artificial ingredients. Why not be smart about it and eat less portions? I don't know how diabetes figures into this but couldn't you just eat less of it by adding fewer?

cause you are not a diabetic that takes cares of herself, if you really concerned about the causes of not taking care of your diabetes you never eat carbs and sugars
