Please try making this. It's a combination of palitaw and masi with a twist. I tried eating it once and it's so rare and so good. So what they did was making masi but instead of adding peanust and sugar, kindly add bokayo ( sweetened coconut meat). After wrapping the bokayo and cooking it with boiled water, they covered it over with coconut, sugar and roasted sesamé seeds.. Please try it..
If you change the last boiling step to streaming then it will become a Indian sweet called kolukattai .this is my all time fav sweet . We tamilians (south indians ) make this on pongal (harvest festival ) and Ganesh chadurthi .

I also made this but after i boiled i used roasted shredded coconut flesh or rice flour to prevent it from sticking each other & it is delicious😋

We make similar in endy except not sticky and peanut and it is called Kozhukatta/Mothakam etc …
