    You boil potatoes till they're fork-tender but not too soft and then add brown sugar and water to a pan inlet it sizzle add your potatoes in and let them crisp up and then take them off the heat and put them on a pan and put what aver seasonings you like and bake them at 350 for 3 to 5 minutes and in joy❀❀😊😊.

    I made my own 3 days ago dices season with salt pepper thyme garlic powder and onion powder drizzle with olive oil in a glass baking dish roast on 450 for 1 hour covered stir every 15 minutes for 1 hour at 45 slice and caramelize a sweet onion with some chopped garlic pour over the sweet potato and drizzle with a 1/4 cup of good maple syrup. Let cook for 10 more minute large 1dice on the potatoes. I hope this works for you.

    I'm not sure if it'll be 100% the same, chopped sweet potatoes oven roasted with olive oil, salt, and a little garlic powder makes a 10/10 sweet and savory entree side that sounds very similar to what you had. 🀀 Mm, I want some right now!

    Hey, i just bake them (cut into small cubes, lots of olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper) with no pre cooking. The sweet potato naturally caramelises a bit as it bakes, and at the end it looks a bit burnt – but it isn't, its exactly what you described πŸ™‚ slightly sticky, naturally sweet and savoury

    Maybe if you add some honey/maple it could enhance that
