Wow, that looks yummy!!!! I will try this soon.
This was delicious and simple and quick – just what I was looking for! I'm African American but my husband is Guyanese and I think I won him over early on when we were dating with a handful of Caribbean pot.com recipes. Each one is a winner!
My mother plants these pigeon peas and I love them green and dry as well. She recently sent me some, I boiled them and put them in the fridge n was wondering how I can make a nice stew from the dry ones. We only make githeri with it or muthokoi
This nuh look tasty
Hi Chris. I love watching your videos. I would love for your version of a green banana mock potato salad (using green banana instead of potatoes). Looking for ways to keep the family surprised 🙃
🙂
Approximately how many cups are in a can?
Where I live (USA, Maryland) we don't have pigeon peas. Is it actually meat from a pigeon?

Looks like the beginning of Puerto Rican rice minus the ham. I have some white beans soaking for later.
Geeeees, , making this on Friday!!! Looking good boy😊

Those peas are so tough. I added a can to my oxtail stew and after hours of cooking I still could bounce them off a wall. I still ate my stew tho.
Nice
Yess 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 gonna try this😍
Yeah man I still want my bake chicken on the side though and some coleslaw.
Looks good
I love cajunus cajan. Curried, stewed, fried, it is the most delisioso peas for me. Planting it and picking it and shelling it is not fun though. Excellent fare for a rare snow day in Toronto. Always have a few cans in stock.
Wow, looking great! It's near impossible to get pigeon peas here. Can I use chickpeas or something else instead? What side dish would you recommend? Rice, pasta?
Boy do that look goooood
Hi Chris very delicious recipe 😋☺
