I'm glad to hear that the big blueberries here count as more than one blueberry, because I can't get my dogs to eat more than one or two. The blueberries that I can get are quite often close to the size of cherries. Granted, my dogs are 10 pounds, 12 pounds, and 14 pounds each, so they don't need as many blueberries as a bigger dog, but there is no way I could get them to eat the number of blueberries often recommended for their weight. Now I know I can assume each big blueberry is worth several "regular" blueberries. That was incredibly useful to know. And it also explains why the freeze-dried blueberries that I was buying from the north west are so tiny compared to the frozen blueberries and fresh blueberries that I find around here.

Such a great discussion. And what a lovely man Rodney is! My goal is to be like you Kimberly and be the proactive pet Mamma that my dogs need me to be, you have no idea. You make everything seem less scary and like your holding the hands of those who are a little bit afraid and unsure.
Kimberly I'm curious, have you ever bungee jumped or walked on hot coals or.something similar? I imagine you'd be the first one up and the first to cheer others on to follow you. 🙂

So, in the forever dog book they say you should feed your dog in the afternoon or evening. Now this guy is saying basically you should feed them in the morning. So which is it?

I've been feeding my dogs at night when I get home from work (8-9pm). And they typically just eat the one meal a day (raw). Now I know that's incorrect….
I'm feeding three 1yr olds (husky & 2 goldendoodles). My question is: when and how often do you and Rodney feed your dogs? I'm gone too long to fit two feedings into an 8 hour period. So would just feeding one meal, breakfast, be better than feeding at night then? Tia! Love you guys!!
