Started some seeds too. And just ordered a bunch more seeds packets from your seed company, can't wait to get them started. In fact, I'm thinking of starting a raise bed garden in my lower yard area — dedicated to cut-flowers, herbs and veggies. Thanks for your inspiration and insight with all you do, its very helpful.

We had some wild sweet peas growing and taking over my backyard last year. I didn't know what it was last year and it didn't bloom for very long at all. What I loved about the sweet pea were the leaves it grew, they look so swirly and fun!

I once tried to grow golden beets. It didn't go so well… They started growing really well, but at some point they stopped. The soil they were in well fertilized, they didn't look burnt, so I just ended up with lil baby beets that I roasted in some foil outside, instead of the golden borscht that I wanted ๐Ÿ™ They were still pretty good even though I burnt them a bit in the foil.

Just looked through your seed website. Definitely going to be taking a more thorough look later! I love that the seed packets are smaller. I am a single person and can't grow 300 of the same kind of pepper plant even over several years!

I just ordered my seed catalog yesterday. I buy your seeds at my local Coastal & Co-op but look forward to a much bigger selection to choose from. Are you the sole owner of Botanical Interests or do you have partners in your awesome new adventure? So awesome! Bye from Sequim WA zone 8b… formerly from Temecula CA

I am good on seeds. I bought many on sale seeds from a farmers store that carried BI at the start of the season. They carried Livingston( Ferrymorse) as well. Then I bought Migardner throughout the summer and end of season clearance.(never paying full price ofcourse). The annoying thing I find is how big box stores trash their unsold seeds instead of clearance selling them. Making seed acquisition harder to replace weather killed plants. Luckily my local nursery still sells seed until the actual end of the fall. I know this video was an advertisement. I buy seeds based on lowest price/quantity, quality assurance, desired variety, and customer service at the minimum. I say that because I think buyer feedback is important.

You can buy actual soup pea varieties. Also, the Austrian field pea which is used as a cover crop can be used as a soup pea. From what I understand, sweet peas aren't suitable as soup peas.
