I shop Walmart every Thursday like clockwork! I do very well shopping there on this lifestyle. I shop mostly in the produce section and a little bit in the middle (I have a large family) isles. You can make this life work no matter what store you go to. Idaho has cheaper potatoes though 😉. I’m always the crazy lady looking for the least brown bananas and the soft avocados. Great video Emmie
We buy a bag of avocados; for 2 of us. We do not eat avocados daily. However, I buy them while they’re hard. As soon as they start to have a bit of give, when pressed, they go into the fridge. They last quite awhile after that. I’ve also heard avocados can be frozen, but we haven’t yet tried that.
The unfortunate thing is their foods are full of gmos and other gross things. I just can't support Walmart in any capacity. They are an evil company. Being republican supporters I highly doubt their produce was initiated by Michelle Obama. It's all money driven only. Also, that sauerkraut isn't raw sauerkraut. Only raw sauerkraut is good for gut microbiom
I went through a phase of cooking sorghum with steel cut oats because they take the same amount of time – they are nice and chewy. I almost never shop at Walmart but now I'm a little tempted. I also have an Aldi's nearby – how about checking out that store? Maybe you already did – I haven't checked! Thanks for another motivating video.
Walmart might be the best place to get food and cheap. Rice, beans, produce, they have it all. They have had these products for years maybe decades. It sounds like she’s never shopped at Walmart before☺️
I need Woolworths and Coles to have the frozen bags of Hashbrowns. My toes curl up at the prospect of par steaming potatoes and then grating said potatoes. That’s more than I want to do 💁♀️🙄😏
You are adorable, Emmie! Love sorghum! I have celiac disease so I’m all about the gluten free grains. My jaw dropped when you said ppl don’t like oatmeal lol I cannot buy dried mango anymore – it is indeed crack as you say 😆 I’d love to see a Whole Foods shop! Maybe even with healthy mummy or healthy dad 🙂 Thanks for sharing this great haul, xo💓
I’ve seen interesting pricing at Wal-Mart too. A lower unit price for a smaller package? Weird. Always check unit pricing! I live in NC and buy groceries at Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Food Lion, and Aldi and Wal-Mart.
Mass resident here. (Southcoast). We don't have a TJs or Whole Foods near us (45 minute drive from Hyannis, Hingham/Hanover or RI). I shop at Market Basket. One near you? I do find many things there and am wondering what goodies you will uncover.
Visit Aldi next. Those of us who live IN the United States, far far away from Trader Joe’s and far far away from WF ( I.E. not near a college city and not near the East coast or West Coast) must shop at Walmart and Aldi. And so yes, Walmart does surprisingly carry increased variety of organic and whole food plant based options, for example organic Tofu, Bragg liquid aminos, Ezekiel Bread ( in freezer) organic flax seed and organic chia seeds. And, a good selection of dried & canned beans. Not to mention a sizable organic fresh produce section.
Hey Emmie, love all of your videos and this one was extra helpful. Just wanted to give you a tip on the avocado conundrum… I'll buy avo's in bulk and let them sit on my counter. I'll check them everyday and when they're ripe they go in my "avo drawer" in my fridge. They'll last weeks at the perfect ripeness 😁
The quick oats in the morning have really made life a little easier. Thanks for the tip. Not sure how close you are to a Costco but would like to see you shop there sometime. Thanks, Healthy Emmie.
I’m a NC girl and that Greensboro Whole Foods store is my bread and butter.😉I shop there weekly. But, sometimes I do hit up Food Lion or Harris Teeter. I’m not sure if you have either of those stores in your area, but if so, I’d love to see what you could find at either of those. Your videos are great! I always look forward to the days you post them.💗
Good show! I am a Walmart person. Excellent rundown and a big help to me. I highly recommend Walmart Supercenters as the places to go for the widest selection and more SKU's! It is generally well worth the longer drive to get to one of those!
i travel alot (flight attendant) so i stick to the produce and frozen section. It is great to have whole fruits and vegetables but do not last as long as frozen fruits and vegetables. 👏🏾🌈 ✈️ I live in NYC we dont have a walmart but have whole foods, bjs, trade fair, etc can you do video on one of those? Great video ❤️

I’m salty about the unripe bananas sold everywhere too🤦♀️

My whole family is obsessed with dried mango!!🥭

Hi Emmie! I never shop Wal-Mart but might now. I am curious of your opinion on buying organic.
Great job Emmie.

Hi thanks for the shopping tour which was helpful. Do you have any thoughts on GMO foods especially CORN products ?
The potatoes were differs varieties, thus the price difference. 💕

I always shop at Walmart, La Banderita tortillas are my favorite!

Instead of maple syrup they also sell dates in the dried fruit area
Thank you so much!
Please do a whole ass video about bread and carbs!!! We need more real information on it! Thanks so much!!!!!

That all looks legit good. As an Australian I'd love to visit Walmart.
A fantastic grocery haul from Walmart. Will hopefully find alternative products in the UK. Love 🥰 the video and love 💞 Emmie.

Very helpful! Thanks so much!!!
Please do Woolworths and Coles in Australia 🇦🇺 🐨 xxxx
Emmie, I am curious about your story. Did you have a weight loss phase or have you always maintained your weight easily? Thank you!
I’m one of those oatmeal haters, but sorghum is awesome!
Target shopping spree please!
You are adorable, Emmie!

I think it would be cool if you did the farmers market
Do NOT buy any food from China. Pollution of air, water, and food is a huge issue there. I lived there for 2 years. Read every label.

Are you not concerned about plastics in boil in bags or even your microwave steamer? Thanks!
Bread gets a bad (w)rap!🤣🤣 Sorry! It is bad for me I have coeliac disease😢
Can you please make a day in the life video?
The quick oats in the morning have really made life a little easier. Thanks for the tip. Not sure how close you are to a Costco but would like to see you shop there sometime. Thanks, Healthy Emmie.
Could you do a video of healthy snacks, either homemade, from trader joes, or whole foods? Thanks!
