My husband had that and I went to the natural store and bought two meds and within 5 mins he quit coughing and it helped through the night but the good thing is with this med if needed can be taken every two hrs but my husband took one dose at night. I sure hope Doug feels better soon and you get rest!

You pack more into a weekend than anyone I know. Andrew is very lucky that you can help him move in and with his classroom. Most new teachers have to muddle through on their own. My grandson moved himself back to school on his own (9hrs away) as he had to be there several weeks early for football. He has always been very independent as a second child. Poor Doug I remember those days of sinus infections; I hope he recovers quickly. Sounds like you both need some quality rest. Have a good week.

I understand your reluctance to city driving! However, my 25 year old granddaughter worked for Winshape sports camps and drove a huge rental truck from camp to camp covering 6 states. She had no trouble plowing through Atlanta, Dallas, New Orleans and others. She recently moved to Boston for law school. She did the majority of the driving. Took them 3 days from Pineville Louisiana to Boston – 1674 miles. Andrew is doing so well. I expect he will be an awesome teacher! Restaurant food looked great. You do stay busy for sure!!

II had a bad cold for a week and the cough decided to hang on another week. It was a doozy of a virus. Andrew is looking good. I can see a difference. Looks like he is set up to be a successful teacher. Good luck to him!

Poor Doug! I started praying for him today. Andrew, too. I know that it is a bit overwhelming for him. Praying peace and calmness in his life and a super successful school year! I know that you are enjoying those boys! It gets super quiet after they are out of the house and married. Too quiet, lots of times! I miss the hurry and scurry! Seasons of life! Enjoyed your life video, Joan! Mom of the year! 🙂

Happy Birthday to Doug’s mom!! I lol when she blew out her candle! I hope Doug feels better soon. It honestly makes me sad when someone as happy-go-lucky as he is doesn’t feel well. I’m glad I got to see inside of part of St. Joe’s University because I spent a lot of time up there at the hospital close by. I’ve got to ask, was that cheesesteak you ate from Primo’s? It’s sad how I know what food looks like from certain places lol. But they are delicious. And I just love seeing you at Doug’s mom’s house on the lake. I can’t figure out where it is but that’s something I’ll ask you privately. You’re such a good mom and wife and person in general. You always put people before yourself so in your own way, you’re like the Mother Theresa of our area, in my opinion. Now I’m all teary eyed. I’m such a sap. But one day my pop-pop told me I’m emotional like him, even though you know he was probably the gruffest person you’d ever meet. People find it hard that he told me that but I still hold that close to my heart. It would be a crappy beach day today but I’m loving the break in the heat we’ve been having. We’re headed to the shore next weekend for a week and I don’t care what the temp or weather is like. All of my girlfriends will be down there separately and we have fun together no matter what we do. I can’t believe I won’t see you till Wednesday but I totally understand. You got soooo much done this weekend. You deserve the break and should be proud of yourself!! ❤️
