Hi Steph, this is what I use for our family of 8. We live on a farm also and have lots of barn clothes to wash. I double this and grate my soap with my Bosch mixer grater attachment.
1 bar soap (I use fels naphtha) grated
    2 c. Super washing soda
    2 c. Borax
From a fellow farm wife ❤

Those peppers are actually poblano peppers! You need to roast them until their skin is able to peal off then you can stuff them with cheese! Look up recipes for them! The dish is called "chiles rellenos" it's a favorite in my home ❤

Another inspirational video Steph. Love the segments with your kids helping with chores and your meals together as a family outside. Making memories. That pizza looked scrumptious.

I wanted to share some feedback coming from a lover of your videos! And if this is only me, don’t change a thing! But for some reason, I prefer instrumental music rather than music with lyrics, because I feel like the lyrics distract from what is going on in the video. And it has nothing to do with the lyrics themselves. Beautiful lyrics, but for some reason, I just don’t like to hear songs with lyrics on videos like this. Again, if it’s only me, I can get over it lol. I just wanted to throw that out there in case there are others who feel the same way, and then perhaps you might consider more instrumental music. Thank you for listening! Your channel is lovely!

I’ve tried so many natural laundry detergents and have had no luck until recently. I ordered the Dirty Labs one from Amazon in the scent Magnolia, Bergamot, Cedar and it’s really good. It’s also nontoxic and biodegradable. The only con is the bottle I got is pretty small.

Get a SPEED QUEEN washer! We got a top load old-school nonelectric dial turning speed Queen 8 years ago and it’s like grandmas washer that will last 50 years and gets it sparkling clean!! Also, EOS detergent from Costco. Clean ingredients. I stock up when it’s on sale. If you can’t find a turn, dial washer by speed Queen see if there’s one used online. ❤❤❤

I make my own laundry soap using Castille soap, baking soda, washing soda, borax, and I do add the method brand ginger mango scent booster. I also add, vinegar and haven’t had any issues with my machine. It’s fairly new( about 3 years old). I got the laundry detergent recipe from Faith and Flour here on YouTube!

I recently found your channel and I’m loving all your content! My husband is a mechanic and his clothes get really stinky haha so I’m using Molly’s Suds unscented for all our clothes (cloth diapers included). Also, that’s a poblano pepper. They’re really yummy fire roasted (:
